Egg Carton Art

Class Description

Recycle those egg cartons for a super-fun class of creating art from egg cartons.

Class Requirements

Please prep and gather all materials prior to the start of class and have them accessible for the children during our class time. Adults are welcome to join in on the fun and help children when needed.
We begin promptly at the scheduled time. All activities are carefully planned and any child that arrives late may join the activity which is currently taking place. This is necessary to ensure the least amount of disruption to the class. Understanding this policy is appreciated.

Class Supplies

one egg carton
scissors
red paint
black paint
yellow paint
green paint
paint brushes
pipe cleaners or green paint
poster board or thick card stock paper (any color except red )
glue
2 googly craft eyes
1 small piece black or brown pipe cleaner

Prep by adults only: Cut a row of six egg cups from the carton. For the other row of cups cut 3-4 individual cups out. Trim and tidy the cups using a knife or scissors so you get a nice shape. Poke two small holes into the top of one of the end cups in the row of six cups.
