Black and White to Color, Charcoal to Paint (for all ages)
In a casual studio environment for 6 weeks we will work from “the still life”.First in charcoal for 3 weeks and then 3 weeks in acrylic paint. Learning everything about black and white then proceeding to color as we apply our methods in the use of charcoal we will effortlessly transition into the use of acrylic paint. By studying the still life the student will learn about volume ,contrast , atmosphere, light and more. In the very first lesson the student will begin to understand the process. This is the same lessons as I instruct for adults as well as kids so it makes a great way to be together. After the 6 weeks is up if the student would like to continue I offer a private mentorship. Where we focus on preparing a portfolio or just exploring creativity and mediums.
