Hand Sewing 101
Class Description
Join me an Italian American trained Couture teacher and learn how to do very basic hand sewing including decorative stitches and button applications. During this 3 hour class you will learn the basic skills to apply to real life applications from decorative stitches for apparel or interior items. At the end of this class you will be able to sew by hand an embroidered item of your choice. Suggested items included t-shirts, scarves, table runners, pillows or napkins. Easy to learn and no prior experience or machine required!. Fun and creative class for kids 13+
Class Requirements
No requirements, but a passion for fashion. Open to Beginners or those wanting to touch up on their skills.

1/2 yard of any cotton fabric
Needle
Thread- 1 spool
1 button- any size
Tracing paper

Do I need a sewing machine to participate?
No, hand sewing requires no machine!
What skill set will I take away from this class?
You will be able to alter your own hems, create a hem if needed, and replace buttons. This course will also teach decorative stitches to add to existing apparel and/or home items.
