Class Description

 

This class is for young people in grades 3-8 that are interested in drawing and learning animation. Weekly exercises will focus on gesture drawing and drawing for animation, helping students further develop their drawing skills to create their own animations. Students will also get to create mini animations in class. This is a 5-day workshop.

 

Class Requirements

 

Students will need to purchase the app Sketchbook for Mac or PC. Sketchbook can be purchased via www.sketchbook.com for just $20.

 

Class Supplies

 

Students will only need the Sketchbook app, but a drawing sketchbook is also encouraged for brainstorming ideas.
