My thoughts:

Hello. I have been teaching all ages, for over 30 years. The way each human writes and speaks is unique –like a fingerprint– and both can be improved through practice. Everyone has their own style–there is no right or wrong way. I look forward to helping you bring out your ideas and become a more confident speaker or writer.
While my children were young, I coached their school forensic teams: we won gifted and talented competitions and went to national tournaments and won awards. I have been married a loooooong time to a man who is an introvert, but I get him to talk. So even if you think you’re shy….give it a try. Maybe you are more of a writer than a speaker, or more of a listener, which is a great skill for writers and speakers to have. I also believe that body, mind, and spirit are all connected–teaching fitness classes has reminded me that the brain responds to exercise…. so sometimes we take “stretch breaks” during class. If you want all movement, I teach mat Pilates (all about the spine and core) and yogalates…a combination of yoga and pilates.
