"WHO AM I 'ENNEA'WAY?: THE ACTOR AND THE ENNEAGRAM

Hi! My name is Timothy J. Verret, and I am an artist. I am an actor, a writer, and a painter. I enjoy creating constantly and consistently, as well as spending time constantly and consistently with my pets pictured above (that's me with my dog, Blue, and my cat, Conrad [I have another cat, Groucho, but he didn't show up for the picture that day]). I am so looking forward to meeting you and teaching you and getting the very best out of you as an actor....and a person!

WHO IS TIMOTHY J. VERRET?

Hi! My name is Timothy J. Verret, and I am 54 years old (born November 13, 1966). I received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Drama from the University of Texas at Austin (UTA). I wear a lot of artistic hats. I love to act, direct, paint, and write sonnets and stories. As an actor, my last stage role was Iago in Shakespeare’s Othello, for which I received a national Falstaff Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actor, Male. I am also the author of Clarabelle Comes Clean, published by Who Chains You? Publishing Company, which is a children’s book about the terrible effects of bullying and stereotyping (the book is available for sale on Amazon). I have self-published two plays, the denial family and Ingenting, as well as a collection of sonnets entitled Seventy-Seven Spiritual Sonnets: Storms to Serenity, also available for purchase on Amazon.

As it relates to the “WHO AM I ‘ENNEA’WAY?: THE ACTOR AND THE ENNEAGRAM Course, I enjoy very much exploring the Enneagram (I am an Enneagram 4, in case you were wondering) and incorporating that into my artistry, especially as an actor. The Enneagram has better defined me as an actor and a person, and it has allowed my acting to soar to new heights. I just know it will do the same for YOU! You ARE unique, you ARE special, and I WILL help you discover all of that onstage, as well as offstage.

I am first and foremost a nonhuman animal welfare advocate. I co-founded CHAIN FREE AUSTIN which successfully passed a dog-chaining ban in October of 2007 for the city of Austin, Texas. I always seek to bridge my artistic skills with my compassion and mercy and love for God’s nonhuman animals. I enjoy watching foreign films, as well as playing with my dog, Blue, and my cats, Conrad and Groucho. I only have one wish in my life: That all pain and suffering of humans and nonhuman animals would end, so that all could live in peace!
